If your friend is doing something haram, do you feel its your duty as a friend to..?
If your friend is doing something haram, I am sure he is well aware of it. So there is no point for you to be all geared up to talk to him in a nice way so that he is not offended. It doesn't matter if he is offended, you still need to do your responsibility as a Muslim and also as a friend. Who cares if he is offended or not? He asked for it by making the wrong decision in his life. If he is a true friend, he would open up to you and share his problems with you - the problems which caused him to chose the wrong path in the first place. And then you could try your best to help him out or at least find someone who could help him. If you decide to ignore his wrong doings, it is clear that you not only dont care for this friend of yours, but you are also not a true Muslim, as Muslims are brothers and sisters who would help each other. And most importantly it is your responsibility as a good faithful Muslim to display the beauty of Islam to our society who consist of various religion. How do you intend to do all this when you are not even prepared to stop the wrong doings of your own buddy? Think about it and act wisely.
